Itemiser® 3/DX/4/5X, VaporTracer2®, MobileTrace®

Sample traps are designed to harvest particles of interest from various surfaces for analysis by the instrument. Sample traps are produced under strict laboratory controls and manufactured using the highest quality Teflon®-coated (PTFE) fiberglass material available. Traps are packaged in contaminant free recyclable trays and sealed for maximum freshness and longevity.

Sample traps should be stored at room temperature away from direct heat. Clean cotton gloves (Large, Small) are required when handling sample traps to prevent contaminants such as natural oils, dirt and lotions from interfering with the performance of the instrument.

Calibration traps meet the exact standards required for precise calibration of your instrument. Traps are packaged in contaminant-free recyclable trays and sealed for maximum freshness and longevity.

Clean cotton gloves (Large, Small) are required when handling sample, calibration or verification traps to prevent contaminants such as natural oils, dirt and lotions from interfering with the performance of the instrument. Calibration traps are single use and should not be reused.

The Calibration Pen is produced under strict laboratory controls and meets the exact standards required for precise calibration. The Calibration Pen should be stored at room temperature away from direct heat. For extended shelf life, it is recommended the pen be stored in a refrigerator or freezer. The Verification Pen is produced under strict laboratory controls and meets the exact standards required for precise verification of the instrument. The Verification Pen should be stored at room temperature away from direct heat. For extended shelf life, DSA Detection recommends the pen be stored in a refrigerator or freezer. Refer to the label for product instructions.

Instrument: Itemiser® DX

The Nozzle Screen Kit contains six screens that allow target vapors to pass through into the detection system. Generally, the Nozzle Screen is replaced during monthly maintenance; but harsh operating environments may require more frequent changing.

At a minimum, the Nozzle Screen should be inspected weekly and cotton gloves (GL7500-Large, GL7501-Small) should be worn while servicing the instrument. For installation, follow instrument manufacturer's procedures.

Instrument: Itemiser® 3/DX/4​

The Long Life, Positive Ion, N-Mode Dopant contains solid ammonia that is released as a gas during the life of the product. Under typical operating conditions, this product will gradually deplete over an 11-month period. Our product lasts 30% longer than the OEM product.

DSA Detection recommends the dopant be stored in a refrigerator or freezer to extend its shelf life.

Bumper feet may become worn or detached and require replacement. Bumper feet are made of self-adhering polyurethane material. The instrument uses eight feet in total, four on the bottom and four on the back for setting it down in an upright position.
