TRAY RETURN SYSTEMS

Rapiscan® Systems' range of tray return systems (TRS™) are designed to enable increased throughput, a reduction in tray handling by staff and the ability to improve passenger attention, among other benefits in security checkpoints.

MODULAR DESIGN
The flexible TRS™ Flight provides the ability to easily upgrade or modify the system to meet increased passenger numbers and new safety regulations.

  • Divestment: Flexible passenger loading options, either serial or parallel, are available in multiple lengths that can be added and removed based on airport needs.

  • Power in and out: With a proven ability to integrate with a wide range of X-ray and CT scanning equipment, Rapiscan® Systems offer custom "before and after" modules as well as specialized base frames to enable the system tray return.

  • The choice of module lengths provides a flexible retrieval area for passengers to claim their belongings and return the tray to the automatic reclaimer. TRS™ Flight uses an efficient gravity system to automatically move trays, encouraging passengers to move down the lane to maintain performance.

  • Diversion and search: Depending on the final inspection requirements, Rapiscan® Systems offer a range of search benches to accommodate the search area, additional screens, containers and other security equipment.

It is a modern, high-performance alternative to a traditional single-file serial divest solution.

The high threat module is designed as an additional high security step in your airport operation.

INDEPENDENT HANDHELD LUGGAGE SCANNER
While TRS™ Flight integrates seamlessly with the highly approved Rapiscan® Systems 620DV, TRS™ Flight has been designed to work with any x-ray security scanner currently in use at airports around the world.

TRAYS DESIGNED FOR PASSENGERS
TRS™ Flight trays are on average 50% larger in volume than trays typically found in traditional systems, allowing for fewer trays per passenger. They are also designed to snap together and disassemble cleanly without the need for guides or complex alignment devices.
